Warranty
Last updated: August 13, 2026
Every part we sell carries a one-year warranty. No registration, no warranty card, no receipt hunting — your order in our system is your proof of purchase.
We sell replacement parts for power reclining furniture, and we know most people find us because something already stopped working. The point of this warranty is that you shouldn't have to go through that twice.
What's covered
We warrant that every part we sell will be free from defects in materials and workmanship for one year from the date your order is delivered, under normal household use. In practice that means we cover a part that fails to do its job, including:
- Battery packs that stop holding a usable charge, won't charge, or won't power the furniture
- Power supplies and transformers that stop outputting power or fail intermittently
- Extension cables, Y-splitters, and connectors with internal faults, loose pins, or intermittent connections
- Switches that stop actuating, stick, or fail to send a signal to the motor
If a part fails within the warranty period for any of these reasons, we replace it. That's the whole process.
What's not covered
The warranty covers manufacturing defects. It does not cover:
- Physical damage from accidents, drops, crushing, pets, or furniture being moved over the cable
- Modification — cutting, splicing, rewiring, or altering a part in any way voids its warranty
- Incorrect use, including connecting a part to furniture with a different voltage or connector type than the listing specifies
- Water, fire, or power surge damage
- Normal cosmetic wear such as scuffs or discoloration that doesn't affect function
- Gradual battery capacity decline. All rechargeable batteries hold less charge as they age; this is normal and expected. We cover a battery that fails to hold a usable charge, not one that simply doesn't last quite as long as it did when new.
- Commercial or rental use. This warranty is for normal household use.
- Your furniture itself. We warrant the parts we sell, not the sofa, recliner, or its motors. If the motor is the actual problem, a new part won't fix it — and we'd rather help you work that out before you buy than after.
How to make a warranty claim
Email us at promotionfurnsales@gmail.com with:
- Your order number (or the email address you ordered with)
- Which part failed and what it's doing — or not doing
- A photo of the part, including the connector end
We may ask a couple of follow-up questions or request a short video, mostly to confirm the part is the problem rather than the furniture. We aim to respond within one business day.
What happens next
If the claim is covered, we ship you a replacement part at no cost to you, including shipping. In most cases we don't need the failed part back. If we do need it returned, we send you a prepaid shipping label — you're never asked to pay to return a defective part.
If we no longer stock the part and have no equivalent replacement available, we refund what you paid for it.
How this relates to returns
The warranty and our return policy are separate things:
- Changed your mind, or ordered the wrong part? That's a return. You have 30 days from delivery — see our Refund Policy.
- Part arrived damaged? Contact us within 7 days of delivery with photos — see our Shipping Policy.
- Part worked, then failed? That's this warranty, for a full year.
Not sure whether it's covered?
Ask us. We'd rather look at a photo and tell you straight than have you guess. If a part failed for a reason this warranty doesn't cover, we'll say so and tell you what would actually fix it.
Your legal rights
This warranty gives you specific legal rights. You may also have other rights under the consumer protection laws of your state or country, and nothing in this warranty limits or replaces those rights.
